If you've been part of discussions about myPhiMu, Phi Mu Fraternity's exclusive members-only portal, then you're already aware of the exciting opportunities it holds. For those who are new to myPhiMu, allow us to introduce you to this invaluable platform.

Launched on July 28th, 2022, myPhiMu serves as a hub where Phi Mu sisters can update their personal information and access essential resources and information about the Fraternity.

Whether you're a seasoned sister or haven’t been involved for a while, read on to discover why claiming your myPhiMu account is a step you won't want to miss.

Why Should I Claim My myPhiMu Account?

Claiming your myPhiMu account opens a world of incredible benefits and opportunities within the Phi Mu sisterhood. By taking a few moments to update your personal information you will unlock a range of advantages that will enhance your Phi Mu experience.

From staying informed about the latest news and events to accessing valuable resources, connecting with alumnae chapters, and more, your myPhiMu account becomes your gateway to a vibrant and thriving Phi Mu community.

Let’s explore some of those benefits…

In The Loop Newsletter

In The Loop is a newsletter sent once a month to your email address and allows alumnae to stay connected with what’s going on in the Fraternity as well as some alumnae-only events and opportunities. This is the place you’ll learn about monthly Ask a Sister events, philanthropy efforts, and more.

Forever Faithful

Forever Faithful is Phi Mu’s annual alumnae dues program. For $30 a year, these dues provide funding for Fraternity programs, resources and operations. Paying these dues also gives you access to Phi Mu’s print magazine, The Aglaia. Payment for Forever Faithful is done through myPhiMu.

The Aglaia

The Aglaia is the official magazine of Phi Mu Fraternity and is distributed three times annually in fall, winter/spring and summer. Every issue covers a variety of topics that are relevant to all members whether you’re an alumna or collegian.

It also shows updates on initiatives within the Fraternity, chapter accomplishments, as well as stories from our sisters at every stage of membership.

While it is available online, the printed publication is mailed out to collegians and Forever Faithful alumnae.

Alumnae Chapters

When you update your information within myPhiMu, it may provide the opportunity for you to learn about an alumnae chapter in your area. By joining an alumnae chapter, you can continue your bond of sisterhood and love of Phi Mu with other alumnae just like you.

If you never claim your myPhiMu account, it’s possible that you may later be on Phi Mu’s Lost Alumnae List which is a list of alumnae that Phi Mu has no record of anymore and no way to contact them.

If you currently don’t receive the In The Loop Newsletter and/or The Aglaia, you may need to update your contact information or claim your account.

If you’d like to claim your account, start by going to the myPhiMu website*. If the last time you’ve logged into a portal or updated your contact information was prior to July 28th, 2022 you’ll need to create an account.

*It seems that sisters have the best luck doing this on their computers instead of a mobile device.

Step 2: Click on the button that says, "Click Here to Claim Your Account"

When you click on this button, you can begin the process of claiming your myPhiMu account.

You’ll want to use your actual email address for this and not a chapter officer affiliated email or a work/school email address.

Step 3: Fill out the Form and Claim Your Account

From myPhiMu

From here, you’ll fill out the form with your personal email address (not a school, work, or officer-affiliated email address), first name, last name, birth date, and the chapter you were affiliated with. Then, click the button that says “Claim Your Account”.

Note: You’ll need to look it up by chapter name, not by the university it was affiliated with.

After this, your information is sent to be verified before an account is created. This might take some time so please be patient.

Once your information has been verified, you’ll be able to click on the 'Login with FSID button' on the myPhiMu homepage and access your myPhiMu portal.

Depending on your involvement with Phi Mu through alumnae chapters, volunteering positions, or if you have no extra involvement at all your portal might look a little different than other sisters.

On your homepage you’ll be able to update your profile, pay Forever Faithful dues, access Resource Hub, as well as a few helpful links to keep you connected with Phi Mu.

Claiming your myPhiMu account is an essential step for all Phi Mu sisters. By doing so, you not only ensure that your contact information is accurate and up to date, but you also have the power to choose what information gets shared with other sisters within the Fraternity.

This connection to myPhiMu enables you to receive important updates, newsletters, and publications, stay connected with alumnae chapters, access valuable resources, and more.

Furthermore, by claiming your account, you avoid the risk of being added to Phi Mu's Lost Alumnae List, which could result in a loss of contact and missed opportunities within the sisterhood.

So, take the leap today, claim your myPhiMu account, and open the door to a world of connection, growth, and sisterhood that will accompany you on your Phi Mu journey, both now and for years to come.
